Question about painting calipers.
If I buy some of the spraycan hi-temp caliper paint, would I be able to spray the paint in a cup then use a paint brush to apply to paint from the paint in the cup to the caliper this way?
The reason I ask is b/c I don't want to take apart the caliper component and it seems like caliper paint came in a wider variety of colors in spraycans.
Any difference from those paintbrush applied paint and the spraycan paint if I spray it into a cup first (shaking the can same as stirring the paint in the can)?

Why not buy Dupli-Color Brake Caliper Kit? The kit has all you need and you don't have to take the calipers off. It's available in a wide range of colours - and using the paint brush with nice even strokes you can get a great finish... you can get this at Crappy Tire (roughly $22+ taxes)

So does anyone think this is possible?

Be sure to use a wire brush to get rid of any oxidation and debris off. Then use the brake caliper cleaner (ie organic solvent) to remove any grease. Then follow the directions on the bottle. I used the Foliatec paint kit and painted mine yellow (and the flames on this board ensued) but they are starting to show signs of neglect. Might have to redo them one of these days. Just did the brakes, too.
Should have done it then ... oh well ... I'm lazy.
