got my engine cover plate today from value car audio... a lot of people talk bad about him, but this is my second happy purchase from the site... once you realize his parts have to be order from japan shipped to hawai than shipped to you in the states and thats why it take so long. anyway.... does anyone know how to get the stock one off and this one on???? thanks

I think you have to take the entire plastic engine cover off and the old plate just pops out....but don't quote me on it

If it is the engine cover, just remove the four 10mm bolts and it pops right off.

I am planning on getting some parts off of value cuz parts like the Blazing Star grill is hard to come by..so that i will be purchasing from him. As for the Inspire conversion parts...alot of people sell em. You have to find a local shop that carries JDM parts and have a account with honda of japan. I go to a shop called Pacific Performance down here...they're well known down here because they're big in the drag race circuits....go to www.AJ-racing.com they have parts too, and u can inquire about whatever you dont' see on there...plus they got dealers all over the country...go to the dealer section and it shows u a map of every store in the country they have distributors across the country. Hit them up. Oh...and the place i go to...i'm paying way less shipping

 

what place are you going to and where is it by? i wanna buy the honda inspire emblems and stuff.

 

I've never had any trouble with Mike @ Value. My orders have been correct and he has responded to my e-mails in due time. I'm planning to order more stuff through him for my gf's RSX.

If you're just replacing that plate on the engine cover that has the "A 3.2VTEC", the plate itself just has 4 tabs. All you need is a flat head screwdriver to kinda pry it off. The Honda one will pop right in. Click the link in my sig to see a pic of mine. It's not from Value, but has the "H" logo.

yeah, that H is just a red vinyl sticker that I bought for 50cents. I'll probably end up taking that off when I get rid of the red "H" on my trunk and my center caps.
