Got my car back from the dealer!!!
Brought it in for a wheel alignment left with front inner tie rod, some rear suspension part (forgot what it's called,250$).They also told me the stabilizer bar bushings are all gone.(does anyone have pics of these bushings?)
I also had them check the oil leak(visual),mechanic says it's the rear main seal, but when i removed the small cap with 2 screws it exposed the torque converter and found no oil in there what so ever. Could it still be that the rear main is shot?

maybe the tech wiped the oil out of the area behind the inspection plate- keep an eye on the engine oil level and open that plate when it drops
You may have needed a control arm if it was bent or the bushings were dead
tie rods go out- I bet it made a bad noise over bumps and had loose steering, excess tire wear, possibly lower gas mileage with a tire not pointing ahead
Rear sway bar bushings- wtf did you do to this car? is it a salvage car?
Easy DIY Buy some new ones- polyurethane will tighten the ride over the strock rubber ones. will make the sway bar work better.harder for you
parts store or mrheeltoe or excelerate will all have the same brand
Also replace the sway bar end links with new units from MOOG
the stock ones suck and will probably break when you try to do any work on the bar~

lol i can contest to the bad roads we have here... and 70 bucks is the average price garage's charge around here to do an alignment so why not bring it to the dealership?? You can always complain and have them re do it. By the way did you bring your car into Acura Laval??

For the sway bar bushings, buy something like Energy Suspension poly bushings. Much better than OE and for the links, buy the Moog ones. They are much beefier and greasable. They are what I used to replace my OE links and I'm very happy with them.

Yep,Acura Laval.

Should've got the work done elsewhere man... The dealer charges way too much for most work they do.
A laser alignment can be done for 49-59$, usually.
And don't buy your parts from there! Most of the time I'll call Acura to get a price, then I'll call a local auto parts store and get the same, OE-quality, part for half the price...
BTW, replacing sway bar bushings TWO times seems a little overboard, even though the roads are like mines fields.. There must be something wrong somewhere that makes them go bad OR they are OK and the dealer was just trying to rape you.

I've changed links and bushings twice(all 4),what can be making them go bad? Who does laser alignment?

The tech at Acura told me even though they removed the inspection cover and found no oil,(torque converter is dry) most of the time when there's oil present in that area it's 95% of the time the rear main. Can it be anything else besides oil plug/filter?

If you get OE-Quality (or better) parts, there won't be any problem. Dealerships make TONS of money off parts and labor...
Most reputable shops have the new laser alignment tools.

I totally agree with you, but there is somethings I don't mind taking my car to the dealerships for, an Aquapel is 24$ its the same price everywhere else. I did my rustproofing with amazing results for only 79$. Plus you get a free car wash when they service your car, ( I know all of you guys hate their car washes) but I stand there and watch them wash it and have them also Armor-All my tires.
Now for labor they are true hustlers, My friend brought her 03 TL-P and came out with a $1200 bill just to replace 4 rotors and 4 pads when I did mine at my local garage for $300.
And FYI for all u MTL'ers Auto Plaza sells rotors for our cars at 31$ a piece front and rear.

the laser alignment is easier and faster for the tech
Its just a target board for referance and each wheel still gets a thing mounted on it- but now a beam is projected- the tech turns the wheels left and right, seeing the beam move across the target board, then looks at the computer screen which tells him what to do where
Makes adjustments- rechecks- computer says all in the green -on spec- done

in the States we can buy them at most parts stores- the bushings are a regular in stock item, they make them in MM increments so there is a display full of them
The Moog End Links are special order- takes a day or 2, iirc they are made in Canada
Go visit your local parts place and ask

I can get all of that for you.
All you need is a bottle of RainX (which is probably like 3$ in the states) and some towels. 10 minutes job and you can do it multiple times before you have to buy a new bottle.
24$ I'd consider paying for it if it was 3$.
