well, the time has come our 2002 tl-s is moving out, probilly going to spend a few weeks on the arlington acura used car lot, then on with its new owners she goes.

anyway, had some good times, and will be moving up to the 3rd gen forum as our 06 black/black 6 speed with navi comes in tonight, ill be sure to let you guys know how much better the 2nd gen is after ive had this for a week or two.

only has 150 miles on it and im following my own break in; sub 4k rpm for first 250 then 5k for 250 then no full throttle till 1k followed by a motul oilchange then let the fun begin

burnout was done by vsa off, set the parking brake and floor it; when you feel that you have done enough damage to your tires release the ebrake and keep the gas to the floor and ride that shit out.

How much tread do you have left after that crazy burn out?

 

plenty.

stock tires with 41k miles on them; done about 2-3 burnouts like that and they are still above 50%

go figure.
