When do you want it to be hot? .. when our keys are in our ignition on I or II?

Try numbers 1, 2, 11 or 12. Those are for the moonroof motor and selenoids.

Just be sure I would take a noid light (looks like an ice pick with a wire coming out of the handle) and test for voltage with the key on and off. I did the same thing when I hardwired the V1..

For God's sake ... don't tap into a fuse slot that is already designated for something else. Use a volt meter or as suggested a 'noid' light and find a slot that is not being used that is hot with key on and NOT hot with key off. Otherwise run a dedicated wire from the battery if u dont already have one (such as for amps etc) and use a bosch relay to swith on/off with the ignition.

I don't think a XM radio can do much harm. But I guess if you really want to be safe. :p

Why don't you use the accessories sockets on the opps. side of the driver's fuse box? I'm not sure but i believe #1 comes on with ignitions. (I do know that #3 power on with parking light, I have my indiglo gauges wired to it), (#5 is constant power, I have my shock sensors attched to it).
