Everybody with recent recalls LOOK!!!

Hey,
I have read a number of posts where peoples warrenty expires before they can do stuff that has to be taken care of. Can you gus post stuff that needs to be fixed with the Acura 2000 TL. This will be very helpful so i can get it all done at once. THanx

I don't think people get it. These are not RECALLS, they are Technical Service Bulletins. What that means is that if you are not experiencing the problem, you're not gonna get it fixed.

Good example is the brake rotors. Knock wood, I have not had the warping problem, therefore Acura ain't gonna fix it.

Kapish?

TSB's are "technical service bulletins"
Means it seems to be a known issue -- but experiencing it won't adversely affect the safety or operability of the vehicle. They will fix it under warranty, but if you are not under warranty, it is not something that will get fixed for free.

Recall's are when a part or component or potential failure of such would adversely affect the ability of the car to operate -- and or make it unsafe. This WILL be fixed even out of warranty.

Yes, dont' go along with that BS. Take it back in and tell them thay have to repair it and it's under a service bulletin. This was a defective design and they are responsible. Mine were replaced at 30K no questions asked....
