Will my "cold weather starts" be improved with this thing? I had no takers on my last request for info....

My TL is just not turning over like it used to in the cold with 80,000 pampered miles on it.

doubtfull. it just sounds like your battery is gettin old

definately sounds like a battery. How old is it? If its more than 3 years old, dont wait for it to get you stuck somewhere. Get a new one!

Have someone check that battery first.

I just replaced the battery in my wife's '97 1.6 EL.

6 1/2 years and 87,000 kilometers. It never failed, I just didn't want to chance another Ontario winter.

 

Drop an OPTIMA battery in it that start anything.

 

When I had my 94' Talon it went through a battery about every 4 years. It started fine every day till one "out of the blue" day it said NOTTA! No slow cranking or anything.
