EBC Pads on on new Stock rotors?
Would there be any problem with putting EBC Greenstuff pads on OEM rotors with only about 5k miles on them?
Thanks,
Joe

nope as long as the stock rotors are in good shape

They will probably warp them even more since the EBC's are a very aggressive pad. Well it's not that their aggressive, but when you get the rotors hot, they tend to bite even more, which is harsh on the rotor.
Personally if you are getting the EBC pads, I would replace the rotors with a set of aftermarkets. The EBC's will perform when they are hot, and you generally need a good vented rotor for that type of driving style. Go for something like the irotors, or the Rotora Slotted. They more or less can deal with more heat than our stock rotors can.
Take care...

Since these pads may be a little sensetive when it comes to heat, has anyone ever had any problems like the pads cracking when hitting cold water, puddles, etc.? Or is this not a factor to be worried about?

I wouldn't recommend washing your car or spraying the rotors/pads with cold water anyway until they have completely cooled and the car has been sitting there for at least an hour. Spraying cold water on hot parts = not a good plan. Too much of a drastic temperature change. Obviously, pads are made to withstand common weather conditions, such as rain or snow. There'd be some *serious* recall goin' on for the next ten years if they weren't designed to withstand everyday conditions.
