drop first or kit first?

Hey guys, what procedure will make the process easier? Drop the car first and then add the kit or vice versa? Thanks for your input.

Hehe I was leaning for more of a more suttle look like the H&R OE. Same process I'm assuming? Thanks for the advice.

you know i've had similar questions but unless you are caked up I'd do the most expensive mod first. Springs won't cost you half as much as the kit...GO LARGE!!!

Get some big wheels too then drop it.

I guess I'll do kit first to save me some trouble. Since I'm going to be installing my own kit; if i drop the car first, I'd experience some trouble since it is lower; if i install the kit first, i'll let the professionals deal with installing the spring. Hehe they shouldn't have as much trouble as i would .

I think you should drop the car first and get rid of that gap. Then get wheels, kit, or whatever. The springs can help in performance too.

Depends on what Kit, if it is subtle, get the kit first, if it is a bit wild, drop it first...

Can't tell you how many Civic and Integras I've seen with nice kits, but look like their going off-roading.... It just throws EVERYTHING off....

I'm just going to be getting the OEM kit, nothing wild.

kit first ...

My 2 cents (based upon the fact I installed the kit yesterday):

Get the kit first. You'll never be able to put your car on ramps if you install the kit yourself. Trust me -- you need to lift your car up to drill holes in the front lip. You'll save a lot of time. Plus, it helps big time to have ramps to install the rear -- the clips that you'll need to install it ... ramps will make your life a whole lot easier.

Aside: Thanks for the FAQ kit install! (Also a big thanks to Kurt B for hooking me up with a deal on an OEM kit and hints on the kit install)

Go with the kit first, I did and I'm very happy with the results, car looks more sportier. Now all I need is springs and some 19's... oh yeah and a loan from the bank.

Hey Derrick, what was you deal on the OEM kit.

Just curious, I'll be in the market for one soon.

This site has it for 829 already painted.

I hooked Derrick up with the KIT... and if anyone else needs to get one ONLY in Ontario Canada, they can contact me.

Don't worry... the price you get form A-TL.com is the best you will see... its just that we are in CANADA... and we will have to pay duty on anything imported from the US...hence it does not make ordering big items from A-TL cause with taxes + duty you might as well get it locally, and save all the customs hassles.

I was able to get it pretty close to what A-TL was offering locally.
As I said ..if anyone else needs one ONLY in ONTARIO let me know.

TLS RULZ.
