Door trim

I have a black on black 1999 TL and I have a problem with the door trim fading, flaking, and discolored. If any of you know where and how much it cost to fix, let me know.

P.S
To be alittle more specific I am talking about where the front window and the back window meet.

not too hard, but a pain considering the seat belt feature. They are flaking? holy crap.

If its just dirty, use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, wet it, and just rub it, you will see your original color back (seats/plastics)

g00d luck.

You can buy new ones for like $30/piece or so and I bet you can put them on yourself. I think there are just few screws that are hidden - mine are bad also BTW

I took mine into the dealer, just past my warranty and asked that this be replaced, after all it's an Acura it should have shit like happening. It was replaced an hour later.... It does not hurt to try. Try and fail is okay, not trying is a failure.

My car is doing the same thing, althought I bought it knowing that it could only get worse. Try to at least talk to the service manager and let them know that acura customer service said it was a known issue, and could be replaced outside of the standard warranty out of goodwill since it is a known issue.

Here's a link to something similar that happened on the radio, instrument cluster, as well as on board computers on some of the bmws with dead pixels. If we get enough people, we could probably get something going along these lines.
