Door Speakers

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the door speaker covers by removing just the arm rest and not the entire door panel? I've read some posts on removing the door panel, but I'm hoping I won't have to do that. In case you are wondering, I am changing the fabric on the speakers.

u have to remove the entire panel. and the speaker covers are heat molded to the panel, you will have to cut it out to change the fabric.

taking out the panel is easy. takes 1 minute.

yeah, its not the easiest mod, but it is time consuming. like el_chip said, you will have to do a few shave and drills

search for my thread on the speaker fabric.

Yes it is easy just like everyone said. You might have a little problem with the drivers front cause of the master switch harness is a little short and you can't pull out the panel that far. I think everyone will agree.

even if you could just pull off the arm rest, you still would need to take the whole thing off if you want to change the fabric. like every1 said tho, its real simple. taking the door panels off is like a .5 out of 10 on the easy/hard meter.
