put window down if tinted. remove triangle plastic peice. unscrew the door handle. remove it slightly. swist off the metal bar and wireing harness. unscrew the screw in the armrest. pry from the outside of the panel until its free. pull it up and remove all the wireing harnesses.

Yup... roll down window, two screws and you pull up on the panel, like mr tl said, theres a bunch of wires hooked to the panel so don't go ripped the bastage off. The security light in the drivers door obviously won't work with the panel unplugged.

I replaced my stock door LED with a bright blue one. I'd like to find something to make the passenger door lock have a blue LED also, but with the same stock look. Obviously the driver side is going to be backwards... though I wonder if it really would look bad backwards... to where I actually have a stock LED door lock plastic trim with the Security sticker on it (was ~$10) but have been too busy to see what it looked like in the passenger door. Besides, I still have Sways to put on baby!

Yup, it only takes 2 screws to remove door panel. I think the triangle he is reffering to is the cover behind the side mirrors. They just snap off.

heres a much smarter idea:
pry off the factory led light (from the side thats closer to the BACK of the car), look at the wire colors, then find those colors in the drivers side fuse box. thats what i did for the speakers. that way, you wont have to run wires through the door boot thingy.

So did you just tap onto the wire connecting to the fuse box?
