show more than just removing the door panel?

I just want to take my panels off for speaker replacement but I see what looks like some other steps - what are they? For removing trim or are they steps needed to get the panels off and back on?

They (Tim aka Snook) removed the trim and had carbon fiber applied to it. You can ignore the steps with the soldering iron the the screw gun.
