Door moulding problem

well it's not a huge problem but i have noticed recently that for both my front driver and passenger doors i see a tiny bit of bubbling....right at the top corner where the window is. i've read about others having the same problem n some with even worse condition...is there a TSB out for this??

yep that's what i'm talking about. the laminated part has kinda loosened...or kinda like it's been pushed up creating a little bump.

Warranty covers this?

I had that problem and recently brought my car to the dealer to have it replaced. Now its good as new. The dealer told me that a few people had the same problem. And it is for sure under warranty

I had a problem with the high-gloss plastic laminate pcs. between the front & rear windows ("B" pillar?). Looked like de-lamination setting in. Dealer replaced for free. He mentioned he's seen a number of problems with the rest of the framing around the windows. The plastic coating bubbles & eventually splits. He said the "official" fix was to completely remove the coating & paint the substrate with high-gloss black. Maybe not the solution a purist would like, but effective none the less. This, too, would be a warranty action.

Bradshaw Acura in Greenville, SC. I had this done last summer - around August. No problems or BS from dealer - he even washes the car on any service visit! Noticed some delamination on the passenger side now - car has 47K on it, so I'm going to get that replaced before the warranty expires. I'm going to try & get the HU replaced at the same time, but I doubt they'll go for it. I REALLY hate that CDs I burn take so loooong to read!

I am in the process of repainting the B pillars on my TL. I have one finished and it looks good. After sanding I used plastic primer and plastic gloss paint. The paint looks close to the original.
