Door clip

Does anyone know the part number for the door clip on the driver door for a 2003 TL-S?
There is a pin that holds the door and there is a clip that holds the pin. I'm looking for that clip. It looks like a "C"

Holds what part of the door and to where? What clip are you referring to The hinge?

Yeah... I'll take some pictures tomorrow. The door is held by two hinges. The upper one has a pin and the pin is held in place by some kind of "c" ring. I need to learn what to call these things!!!

What you're describing is an e clip. It's not available separately from acura/honda. Take one off another door and take it to a hardware store to match up. If not a hardware store, an auto supply.

If it's #35 [94540-06014 E-RING (6MM)] here --> http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no it should be available separately.

Sorry don't know how to insert the image. Hope that helps.

My bad. I looked at that same diagram and missed it. Then my local dealer told me you had to buy the hinge.

Thanks for the info, guys... yes, I found it to be an E-ring (6mm) Part. 94540-06014. The dealer wants freaking $3.50 and special order and acuraoemparts.com has a minimum of 4 to order.
Do you think I can find this at a hardware store?
Thanks!
