Hey Everyone, I'm visiting from the AcuraMDX board. I wanted to post my experiences about a bad dealership and save someone else the trouble I went through. Hopefully, this will spread the word and maybe the consumers will have some leverage!

What up fatboymdx....I guess they don't realize that Acura owners are one big family from TL, CL, RL, TYPE S- P, MDX, LEGEND, VIGOR, RL, RSX.....Make sure you go to all the forums and spread the word like the plague....New York has got your back!

they are indeed not a very good dealer to deal with. I bought my 02 TL-S from them, its a lease though.. and i traded my car in... we agreed on a price but they kept playing number games on the trade in (which I didn't notice until AFTER i took delivery of the car)... I'm supposed to put $2000 towards the car, however the way they worked the numbers, only less than $1400 ended up being put towards the lease. I mean i love my car and all, but I know i could've gotten better service elsewhere.

a few weeks ago, my friend and I went shopping at Acura of Pasadena, and we got much better service there. If anyone is shopping in the LA area, I would recommend Acura of Pasadena (as one of my neighbors in my apt complex bought his there too) ask for "X".. she's a good salesperson

Yeah, Sierra Acura just about sucks my left nut. They were charging 500 over MSRP when I inquired! I told the salesguy that just about every other dealer in SoCal was going below at least 300 below MSRP and he just gave me a look....

I guess this is what adamyankee meant about bad timing w/ the license plate on my TL that says "Sierra."

I bought my car from Sierra Acura, and quite frankly, it was a fairly pleasant experience... but I was lucky enough to be dealing w/ the General Sales Manager... have a friend who worked there as a tech, and is friends w/ him... I received a pretty kick-ass deal and the GSM really went out of his way to get me awesome financing... much better than any of the other acura dealerships I went to...

but i can definitely see how ppl may have had bad experiences there... i did deal w/ a couple of shady salesmen, but as soon as i started dealing w/ the GSM, everything was peachy...

my car is great... the deal was great... and the GSM was great... but i guess the buck stops there...

i'm sorry everyone else seems to have had a terrible experience... guess i was the lucky one...
