Do your cars scratch?

I was thinking of lowering my car but it seems like it would scratch like crazy if im not extra careful. I just put the oem kit on and i just want to know if lowering it will just make life more difficult. Any comments?

I don't think it will make life any harder for you. No matter what, if you love your car...you take caution when you see dips/bumps...uneven roads..and horribly high driveways.

I recommend H&R Sports I got it for $135. There's a place called Speed Driven on groupbuycenter.com selling it for $144 shipped. Call them up.

Here are pics of my drop.

I have 1 finger gap all around. It's not that bad. I can go over speedbumps fine.

That's a nice drop man. Did you keep the stock shocks in there or did you replace them? would it be fine if i got the H&Rs and keep the stock ones in there? or would that be a ? I am contemplating between the H&Rs and the Eibachs

haha! Thanks guys.

oVerBoost, you can see my car upclose at the So Cal meet. Anyway, I'm lowered on stock shocks cause i'm going to upgrade to Tein SS Coilovers in the future anyway.

I had the Eibach Pro Kits on my car and it gave it a uneven drop.

Ray don't forget to tell them about how scraped up your front lip is.

Just remember when you drop your ride, deep dips and steep driveways are your worst enemy. If you're really concerned w/scraping, go with coilovers ($1k) or H&R OE Sport ($144-groupbuy).

Normal driving conditions, speed bumps, etc haven't been a problem with the sports. The one time I did scrape wouldn't have mattered if I had sports or the stock springs.

ahh i didn't know the eibach pro-kit gave an uneven drop..guess you learn something new everyday. Anyways, so if i get the H&R OE Sports and keep the stock shocks...would my shocks die out really fast? I want a nice drop but yet keep my stock shocks..don't have enough $$ to get new ones

Well, It will definately wear it out prematurely. But you can run on them for at least 30K miles. But for me..it's just pushing it for factory shocks.
