denso spark plugs?

does anyone know if denso spark plugs make the check engine light come on? i went to the dealer today and the service advisor told me not to use after market plugs because they will miss fire and cause the check engine light come on.
as anyone had this problem or have any advice for me. i need to change my plugs real soon.
thanks.

Actually this problem happened to me, i had aftermarket spark plugs and caused the engine to miss fire, my check engine light came on, so did my traction control light. I would recomend staying with the factory plugs the have a 100k mile warranty

Denso and NGK are both recommended by Honda. They come pregapped. If your engine misfired, then its because your didn't torque the plugs correctly.

Denso IK16 will probably not make a difference since our platinum plugs are pretty good. If you have modifications like I/H/E then you should get colder plugs like IK20. other wise its a waste of money.
