I was told that my 02 3.2 TL-S, agean Blue with Navigation system was "on the train" and due 4/20. Now I am told "it was damaged in its test drive" and I need to start all over again with a new order to build it.
Can anyone shed light on what is really going on? I think I am being jerked around and not getting the real story.

Bogus!! If that really happened, Acura would take care of it by getting the dealer another car asap. They wouldn't make the dealer go through the whole process of ordering another one. Did you have a VIN # yet? I would call Acura Customer Service and tell them about the story you got. They can check to see if it's true, especially if you have a VIN #. Even if Acura wouldn't give the dealer a replacment car asap, the dealer should at least have given you the next one that's coming in and bump everyone else down one spot (that is if it was really wrecked).
Good Luck.
Good Luck.

Sorry to hear that, one of the big choices of a dealership that I bought mine from was that it was on the lot... I know the Blue is a hard color to get but... I think they are pulling your leg

I was waiting for my Aegean for about 10-12 days. I don't know why.
I didn't mind waiting because I had another car that was a lease. It was due 2 days after my TL-S came in.

Dude, when you get your car, check the mileage and then ask them point blank if they messed with the odometer.
They are probably out riding around in the car racking up mile after mile and then they'll just open the odometer case and roll the miles back to zero to fool you.
It's a common trick and if you aren't savvy, you'll get creamed by these sharks.
Also check underneath the car for worms.

Is it possible to roll back the odometer on our TL's? Since it's digital and all...

I always wondered if they can roll back the miles on a digital odometer, so I asked my friends at Honda and they said it can't be done, but if you unplug the odometer the vtec stops working..
I know it's a very unethical thing to do, but it was just an idea..

I think the new digital odometers take a reading from the axle and the wheels. They're getting more and more ingenious these days.
I recall previous post from last year about pulling one of the fuses to stop the odometer, but the is certainly a most UNETHICAL THING TO DO.
