Dash and clock light

Hey guys. I just got my TL about 1 month ago and I noticed that the Off/Auto light on the AC controls don't come on. Also the clock light does not come on, this I knew about. Is this a bulb problem. I didn't think it was a fuse problem because I figured one fuse was linked to all of them.

Thanks ahead of time.

Does the AC still function? If so, its should just be a bulb. Congrats on the new ride....

Yup, everything still works. Is it one bulb per button?

Thanks again

I know this sounds dumb but when I bought my 03 a year or so ago, the clock light didn't work either. I searched the forums and found a post somewhere that said to hit the dash above the clock with my fist several times. It worked and hasn't been a problem since.

Its pretty simple to replace the clock light. I had to replace my whole clock unit and that took only 15 minutes.

I will have to try the hitting my dash method to see if that works. If not, do I just go to the dealer to get the bulbs or is this something I can get from Advance auto?

Thanks,

Does the whole clock have to be replaced or can I just replace the bulb. I don't want to pay 50 big ones for a clock.

Cool.... the service writer told me a new clock was required.... but if a light will do the job--- saweet

Maybe the light takes a little messing around with and the dealer prefers a 15 minute complete clock replacement cause its quicker????

thats how it usually goes at the stealership!!!!
