I've tried several different brands of CD-Rs and haven't had a single problem. There were a few people that complained about the CDs getting stuck because of using those CD label stickers. Don't use those labels, and you should be fine.
Had major problems
I have a TL-S and i had to get the whole cd changer replaced by acura because my CD-R got stuck in the slot. Now it works gets, but i think it was b/c of the stickers on the cd..........so just dont put the stickers on them and u'll be alrite.
Yep, only problem really reported is the eject rollers are very weak (and only on the bottom) so any disc that is even the slightest bit thicker than a normal spec CD will have trouble getting ejected. Labels make CD-Rs much thicker (relatively speaking) and should be avoided at all costs.
The workaround for getting a CD to eject when it won't is to take another CD and with just the edge, stick it in and press down on the edge of the stuck CD while it is trying to eject. The added pressure to the stuck CD will force it down more on the rollers and it will pop right out. Remember, don't stick the second CD in all the way--just enough to cover the edge of the CD that is trying to eject.

Our CD players are very good when it comes to CD-R's. I haven't had a single CD problem in more than 2 years until recent. My friend bought a bash of 50 CD-R's and they do not seem to want to work on my TL. The funny thing is that I have the same brand of CD's and they work fine.
No matter what if he gives me a CD-R from that bash it would not work on my car

No problems here; I've even used some weird 80min PNY "Black Diamond" CDR's without a skip. (They are black on underside, like PS2 dics...) I figure if it'll play those, it'll play anything.
Stuck CDs
I have problems with the rollers not grabbing the CD, no matter, CD-R or Regular Music CDs. I learned to carry a small screwdriver to help with the ejection sequence. But I am going to take it it to get replaced.
My 2000 TL played any brand of CD-R I threw at it. I used a lot of Verbatims (blue) and had no trouble at all. My 2002 TL-S refuses to play the same Verbatims the 2000 played. I've found it likes green ones (i.e. Sony) the best.
No problems loading/ejecting, however.

My CD-changer eject button got stuck. Took 4 weeks to get a new one. Lucky for me they were able to get my CDs out. Or it would have taken another 4 weeks to get them back.
Other than that.....it's worked fine with CD-Rs. However, I did hear of another one getting jammed because the lable peeled off inside. (Was being brought in to the dealer just as mine was being fixed.)

So far I have no problem with CD-R in the changer. I use whatever the cheapest CD I can find. :o The only thing is I don't use any CD label stickers on it. That may caused some problems.
I've had problems ejecting CDs on three occasions. Each time it was after a long commute in warm weather, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Normal CDs - no CDRs. I've been able to circumvent the problem each time by pushing the stuck disc back into the player with another CD, which causes it to pop out normally.

I've actually had major problems, such that I had to get my whole head unit replaced because of playing burnt CD's. You have to be very careful about playing CD-R's with labels. If the labels are too think, the CD will get jammed, and the headunit will break.

My 98 accord EX-V6 CD player has problem playing regular data
CD-R. But it can play those for-music-only CD-R fine. So when
I burn CD for accord, I use those for-music-only CD-R. For TL-S,
I just use regular data CD-R, it is cheaper.

Not a problem with any CD-R so far. I've tried Sony, Maxell, Comp-USA, etc. I had a couple of skipped tracks only when the car was on a VERY bumpy road. BTW, the CD player on my Sienna sucks! All CD-Rs are skipping like crazy. However original CDs are fine almost 100% of the time.
