ok aziners i dont know if im being overly cautious of the d5 light or not, but when i go to turn my car on along with the other normal flashing lights in the dash, i notice that my green d5 light is solid on until the car is fully on. is this normal and i have never noticed before? does everyone elses tl do this as well? or am i losing my mind, and have never taken notice to this before?

In other words during cranking. While starting it up from the 2nd click (II) to fully on (III) i notice the green D5 light solidly on

 

i believe it's like that lol..the only time you gotta worry is when your D5 starts to blink while you're engine is on and running.

 

well it shouldnt be that way if u have the gear in the Park position.

thats strange, unless u shut the car off and on while its still on d5, which i doubt.

 

mines been the same way since i bought it.. havent had any issues, but in my old accord, when the d4 light was on at startup it meant the tranny computer was throwing a code.. no clue how to see if im throwing any sort of tranny code, so ive never really looked into it..

Mine does the same thing and I asked the same question but no one ever got back to me. Glad to see I'm not the only one whose car does this
