Custom Magnaflow catback installed, first impressions

Hi guys, had my magnaflows finally installed today. I have 2.25" piping, 18" bullet resonator and the rest is straight pipe. It is pretty loud and very deep. It sounds like a big V8 and rumbles pretty loudly at 2500rpm. at around 3500rpm you can't here the exhaust at all and the tranisition to the sound of my intake takes over. Low-end power seems to have gone down a bit, other than that it feels as strong as it did before. I did notice it seems to accelerate a little smoother, not sure why. Overall they look great, but the sound is a little on the loud side. I will need to get used to it I guess.

That gets annoying after awhile, my CL was like that. I had 2.25 piping from the cat back no resonator and a Ractive muffler. I swear they could hear the car in Alaska when I gunned it.

I don't have a digital camera or camcorder to take pics or do a sound clip. it is pretty loud though. quiet when I don't step on the gas though.

u lose some low end grunt from less back pressure but top end should be noticeable.

why did u go w/ 2 1/4 in diameter? why not 2.5 in? also is it mandrel bends too?

isnt stock exhaust 2 1/4 in?

it is mandrel bent, stock piping on the tl-p is 2", tl-s is 2.25", I do notice a little more mid-range and high-end power, low end is a little slower, but not much. Lokks great and I am getting used to the sound. this is my first catback.

took a ride to get some pizza and gunned it down the street from and once I hit vtec my car just took off. I definitely felt an increase up high. I am starting to like the sound. I'll keep it the way it is until I get sick of it and then switch to a bigger resonator.

I had a cat back Magnaflow system on my old '95 accord coupe. I constantly got compliments on how good it sounded. Most people would want to know what brand it was when they heard it and they often said - "hey your car doesn't sound like a large bumble bee!"

my setup sounds like a very deep vroom, nothing like a fart-can civic. it is more like a cobra sound.
