New TL-S help

I recently purchased a much wanted 02 TL-S, black on black with NAVI. Two problems exist that the seller did not disclose to me and I did not realize they were problems. The VSA system doesn't light up at start up, neither does any light come on when you push the button. Also the OPDS sensor was replaced by the dealer, but the SRS light continues to say it is faulty... Any help?

well if its under warranty take it in. now i have never looked to see is my vsa lights up at start up, but if you floor it does the traction control kick in and the vsa flash? if not, maybe a blown fuse? sometimes most don't know about stuff thats suppose to happen at startup, my mother or father couldn't tell you have the shit their TL does, hell, they didn't even know it had the sport shift or heated seats or what hid lights were.

I have tried to activate the VSA system to no avail. The wheels spin out and nothing activates.

I don't think it lights up in the startup...but regardless... if you have it on, the exclamation mark should not be lit up. If u deactivate it, the yellow exclamation mark should be present..i believe on top of the gas meter. But even if you have it activated, if you floor it from the start, the car should have couple seconds of wheel spin and the exclamation mark should flicker on.

if it's not working..take it to acura dealership asap..

The light "VSA" and the /!\ SHOULD come on at start-up, then immediately go out. When you begin rolling about 3mph there should be TWO vibrations felt, one is the ABS self-test, the second is the VSA one.

If this isn't working, take it to Acura.

The "SRS" light being on means that none of the airbags nor the seatbelt pretensioners will work. Take it back to Acura ASAP because these items could mean life or death.
