custom 2nd gen grill

Hi guys im a newbie just wondering has anyone customized their grill on their 2nd gen tl,if so how is it done all of your help would b greatly appreciated!

im with him,,,i would like to see if anyone has done something with a 02-03 grill..all i really have seen is just painted grills for this year..or mesh style 99-01 grills

The most you can do with a 99-01 OEM grille is mesh it, or replace it with a Mugen/replica or a JDM Saber/Inspire grille.

There are different ways to mesh your grill if you decide to go that route, as well as varying levels of custom work to do. Here's mine, theres a lot of bondo and careful cutting involved if you go this way, and you can't mess up There are easier ways where you just put mesh between the outside chrome trim and the black trim, but obviously I'm biased and think removing the plastic mesh and "wing" area looks the cleanest

badged (dont complain about the (H) being low, i already know, and the trim is molded to the rest of the grill

I made mine just like rajca but removed it shortly after, the grill is too big imo. Thats probably why Rajca put the H there

oh snap! I should put it back on! I always debated about getting the front H insert from the inspire but its like 150 or so. Kinda spendy to convert to inspire
