Coolant leak
Hello,
I found this little pool of coolant on the engine, but i can't see where it is leaking from. It's right behind the rear cylinder head.
Hope it's not serious.
Thanks for your time..

has to be the coolant bypass lines to the TB
Ck clamps, ck for worn out hoses--if they are soft they are worn out
See DIY thread on Thermoblock spacer install- it has good pics of the manifold hoses and the hidden locations
You can attach a `pressure tester`- free loaner tool from parts store- apply running pressure to radiator and watch where fluid comes out

Has the car been in for service in the past month or so? What is your coolant level like?

the res bottle is an important tell
It needs to be at the cold full mark when checked- overnight cold
AND the rubber hose attached inside the cap must be in place- it likes to fall off into the bottle,,then no transfer can occur and you get problems
Pressure test the system and the leak should be obvious- its in a strange place to find coolant and not much there but the small hoses to the TB..

thats odd but things do come loose
Try tightening it for now but if its leaking its getting past a gasket seal that needs replacement

Three Wheelin'
Use a flashlight to check the bottle, it is white plastic and is next to the driver's side headlight. You have to dig to see the level, it is marked COLD and HOT I think.
