Comptech Icebox
Eric,
Not a bad idea. I'll have to find one in Fresno or maybe the next time I'm up north.
The bad news is that I won't be installing today. Looks like they sent me the wrong kit. I've got the one for the TL-S and CL-S auto in my paws right now. Don't know what the difference is between the TL-S and TL-P kit but there must be something.

I'm going to install myself. Should be a couple of hours to install at most so depending on labor rate, could be 1-2 hundred.

Guys get that fawking intake like its going out of style that is the best mod up to date since the headers. I believe that this intake will give considerable performance cause I have it installed and Comptech could be selling these for a lot more believe me. This intake will blow away the AEM and whatever else is out there. Trust me I don't even have headers and I feel that confident in this product that I think the Icebox and my SSR comps. will give a CL-S with headers a run for its money.
How about some info about where it mounts? The pic for it being sold on this site shows it in the engine bay of a Honda, not the TL. Does it go way down underneath like all the other CAI, and if so, is it as susceptible to water splashing up underneath? Thats the only reason i never put on a CAI to begin with, because i dont live in an all year round sunny climate and I have heard about the possible problems with some of them getting soaked.
