Comptech Gauge Pod Console

Looks clean, but bad idea. Not only do you have to re-locate your seat heater switches, but you would have no power outlet there ( i suppose you could use the one in the console) and that is where the port is where you plug the car in to read codes.

It's not as bad as you'd think. Just relocate the OBD II interface by extending the wiring to a different location and extend wiring for the switches and gauges.. it's really easier than it sounds. I've done it on my car already. Takes only a few hrs of patience to do.

iirc, i think there are only 2 or 3 wires going into the back of each of the switches in the connector so you would just need to lengthen those. you'd have to remove armrest-console-shifter back anyway so shouldnt be too much trouble. the pillar gauges look a lot better.

This is not something members would have been installing in their car to know if it was easy or not.
It was a 1 off.
2. If you did install it you could EASILY remount your OBD2 hookup to under the dash where you could get to it, and remount your seat heaters. Since you have to take that part of the console out to replace that all in 1 unit it would be simple to cut and extend the wires.
This was custom made for my car and it cost me around $300.00 and that's not including the new oem console I bought.

Do a search, I have a post with picks as to the difference between our 99-01 TL TLP pillar and type S pillar Lo Tek made a while back. I was first to tell them it doesnt work and why. Find out if the accord is the same as TLP or TLS and you should have your answer. I would think the accord one is more like the TL 99-01 but not sure,

thanks. i read here https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ghlight=pillar that the CL ones will not fit a 2G TL.
