About 3 months ago, the AC compressor would not engage. Checked the refrigerate level which was okay. The interior fan also stopped running at the very same time. Thought maybe just a fuse. Checked them and they were okay and also ruled that out as at least once they both (fan and compressor) popped back on. Wasn't too concerned as summer had ended and I didn't need either as the weather was mild. Now, however, it's getting cold, and I would like to use the heater. Again, fan does not come on. Is the same associated with a relay I might check or does anyone else have an idea? BTW, the fan is good. Replaced about a year ago. Also, heated seats and rear defroster do not come on. Looking for a common cause. Relay?

 

No way anything could fail after a year, right? Check the blower motor connector.

Did you ever do the service bulletin that was on the blower?

 

5-6 years ago, I had a situation where the starter went out and fuse because of starter on my pickup. But the crack at fuse was almost invisible. I had to deal with it for entire mont till I did figure out. I would check fuses with voltmeter.
