color code

I had always thought my 99' tl was satin silver metallic becvause thats exactly what it looked like but i was just about to order a wing and i checked the paper and realized it said the color of my car was "heather mist m." can anyone help me with this or kno what the paint code is for the color?

i just found the color called heather mist mettalic but that sample of this color does not really look like my car my car looks much more like satin silver could it just be the sample on the site and in real life the two colors arn't that different or could they have written the wrong color on the paper? i have tried to look for the paint code on my car unsuccesfully could any one tell me exactly where these codes are located?

ok i have determed my car is heather mist metallic but when ordering some parts there is only heather mist available is there any difference between heather mist and heather mist metallic?

should be the same thing, they just shortened it up by removing the word metallic
