Well tonight after partying... i was on 59(wide open freeway)... i saw this 330... with 3 people.... we were playing from 40mph.... my car has 3 people as well.... one thing i can tell is... He was like a car behind... and he pulled from behind and a car ahead... so i am wondering, is my car really that slow??? Now stop that "oh you should get a TypeS ****..." please..... just wanna know are they really quick on freeway???? Oh well, I lost... I lost... I lost....
Now I really wonder is it time to start putting stuff on now???

Cuz now i have CAI, pulleys, and plugs.... wat yall think....??? Sigh, oh well....

330s are fast... especially if it's a 5spd..

 

Hmm...maybe you should consider resetting your ECU...

 

reset the ecu is NOT gonna make enough diff of being spank by one to spanking one.....

 

The 330 was probably a 5spd and thats how he pulled so quick at a higher speed...cuz I know the TL-P is pretty slow at acellerating at higher speeds, unless you downshift with the SS...just from my own experiences with my '02 TL-P...I mean the 330ci is not really faster stock to our TL-P stock, but will acellerate quicker with a 5spd.

 

5-speed 330ci can do 14.7 in the 1/4 stock.... what can a TL-P do? high 15s?

 

My CLP with CAI, AEM pulleys, Denso plugs, at Baytown strip, I ran a 14.7.... with 16" stock rims, stock tires with 21psi.... thats not bad for a CLP at all.... I have raced a 330 auto and 5spd off the line before.... I was about a car ahead of him.. which means his front bumper was at my rear bumper... and I raced a 5spd... we were dead even....

So off the line, I can keep up with them... but both times, once get on high speed, even the auto can pull on my from behind... so I do think their gearing has a lot to do with it.... PLUS of course, their car IS faster than ours, thats the fact...

It's all about gearing in our cars. If you want to play, 3rd is where it's at until 110+.

 

yea, a stock one run 15.2... i ran 15.14 when it was TOTALLY stock.... then 14.7 with just those mods.... i mean, a 0.4 jump with just those little mods, not bad at all....
