clock light is Out
clock light is Out
I just noticed the back light of the clock is OUT. It wouldn't come on when I turned on the low beam. Checked #9 fuse on the driver side fuse box, the fuse is good. Check serveral other fuses under the hood. Everything is fine. Anyone has the same problem? Does anyone know what other number fuse I can check? I really don't want the dealer touch it if the bulb is out because they need to remove the whole front panel to gain access to the clock unit. Please help!!!!
Sounds like the bulb behind it is out...all you have to do is remove the panel and pop the connect then remove the clock assembly. You can use the small screw driver to take the light out and replace it.

same here, my clock light is out also, but I hit it two or three times, then it will come back !
. But if you didn't put any mods in your car, why you don't just take it back to your dealer and fixe it? cos it is under warranty, and no charge, but you seen worry the dealer wil do something bad on your car huh? Anyway try to give it a hit, maybe the light will come out agaiN ~

You sure hit it nicely Stanley.
I tried tapping on it, but that didn't work. My guess is either the bulb is blown or loose. The reason I am hesitated to bring it back because they screw up more thing than fixing that little thing. If they need to pry open the instrument panel to reach the clock, most likely I will see many scratches on the panel. Then I will have to haggle for a replacement. You guys probably think I'm A-hole.

What dealer did you go to? They never told you what they replaced? Thanks.

If youre that concerned about them scratching the panels take a picture that has a date on it so if they do damage it you have proof. Whats the point of having a car with a warranty if you are afraid to use. Face it the only one thats gona treat your car good is YOU. So anytime someone else is in possesion of your vehicle without you present they are going to take it for a "spin".
