Exclamation Clearing Headlitghts

I have an oppertunity to buy a pair of 02-03 head light assemblies. I want to buy them to roast them in the oven....sound like a plan? Anything I should look out for? Are they all the same or are there different types of housing for each car?

Thanks for the input!

Thanks but I already have the DIY, I need to know if they made any other type of headlight housing. I want to make sure the ones I buy will work with my High beam/low beam bulbs.

Some cars have an option for dual xenon, which I would think as a different housing than the single xenon setup.

anyone?

dual xenons are only available for the 04+ TL's. our gen (99-03) all does not have a dual xenon option. every model TL in our gen has the same concept headlamps and you wont see any differences.

Bi-xenons are only single bulbs with a moving shield. Having HID lights as separate bulbs wouldn't work. Not only do they not like to be blinked/flashed, but they also require warm-up. Bi-xenons, in all applications I've ever heard of, are always projectors.

So the TL's D2R lenses have 35W D2R HID low-beams, and regular halogen 9005 highs. Any lense designed for 99-03 TL's will have this setup.
