Thumbs up Cleared my headlights *Pics*

I got my headlights cleared last week. Man what a difference. I never seen a set of cleared lights in person. I was :wow:

Due to the rain and humidity, I put off installing them....until today...muwhahahaa...I'm so psyched

I wanna thank Mr. for helping me clear them. I droppped them off last week and picked them up a few hours later. Mr thanks for your service.

Gonna wash my car this weekend (if no rain). I hope it doesn't fog.

Well here they are:

Thanks. I'll let you know if it fogs.

You can probably do this yourself. Probably take a few hours to complete. I was feeling lazy :p

That's a good move. I bought an extra set too. Just in case these fog up bad I can always go back to the original.

I can't wait to see your pics.

I used clear sylvania 1157 bulbs. It lights up yellowish. It's a perfect match with the wedge bulb (bulb underneath blinkers).
It still needs some getting use to. If I have time I'll take some pics tonight. Either way, alot better than the orange blinkers.

Here's a few pics with the clear 1157 bulbs with 6000K D2R. The clear 1157 are a perfect match with the wedge. It looks alot better than the orange look IMHO. It's still yellow/orange enough not to get noticed by coppers. The lights looks even better off, without having that orange reflection of the orange bulb.

More pics are at acurainspired.com under mooster.

I didn't clear my lights. Might want to ask Mr. what he used. If I had to do it myself, I would use Honda Bond, which is the sealant that's orignially on the lights. I heard they're pretty expensive.

I think that Mr. uses is the All Aquarium water sealant found at any pet store....works wonders. Also does anyone know what the model # of the wedge bulb thats behind the orange reflector is?

Good for you for doing it yourself and making a little money on the side but why the............"I have figured out a way to clear headlights on the first shot."
I'm not sure what your trying to get at here. I'm glad you have successfully cleared your lights too, I think it looks good on any car. What problem do you have that others are doing it too. I have figured out a way that works for me on the first shot, of course everyone's ways will be similar but NOT necessarily the same. It took some trial and error and everyone seems to be happy with my work, check previous posts since you like to research. If you'd like to discuss this at length (I'm not sure why you would . . ) pm me.
