Post Chrome Centercaps

Hey, I got an idea for an alternative to the centercaps us non-gold kits have. They are not very flashy, but the RL has something a lot flashier, they're basically the same centercap (chrome), but instead of a sticker for the Acura symbol, it's a smaller version of what's on the grill. Anyhow, I'm going to ask about this tomorrow, and if they'll fit I'm going to order a set for my TL.

Thumbs up

They will work, don't let the dealer tell you otherwise! They cost $33.00 for one centercap! And only one dealership in my area will sale them. I can't bring myself to pay $132.00 plus tax for the centercaps though

at A&H Motorsports you can buy the gold 'A' that they use on the RL wheel centers and put them on the TL centers. I put a black background on my stock centers and then added the gold 'A'. Looks pretty good - I also have the gold emblem kit for the TL and only used the gold "A" on the trunk and grill. You can probably get the stock RL centers for a lot less at A&H.

I'm probably going to do it... I'm also going to see if they have the black chrome like that too, it might look pretty sweet. We'll see, I think I can get a deal on a set they take off an RL when they put the gold on it. I'm going by there today to ask. I gotta get some stuff from there that they've been saving for me (I may have to post some pics of it ). I'll keep you guys posted.

I was told that you cannot get the centercaps with the black chrome A symbol on them, but that you can get the center cap with the silver A symbol (instead of the black sticker). Acura gave me a part# 44732S0KA00 at $12.10 each. Haven't gotten them yet, though. I think in one of the TL books that I have at home, it shows a picture of a TL with centercaps with the Chrome A, so I am assuming that you can get them.

Dang, if I can get them for under $50, I'm buying them and putting them on this weekend! I was hoping that they'd have an RL that they did the gold kit on and then just give me the old caps cheap, if they're only $48.40 for a set, that would rock!!!

Remember that is only the "A" and you have to drill the holes in the caps to install or glue it.

Really....I guess that would explain why you can see a little bit of the black A behind my gold A emblems on my centercaps now? I got the impression from the dealer that the part # they gave me was for the whole center cap, not just the A. But I definitly could be wrong about that. Going to need to confirm it before I order them.

Hi,

Anyone got pics of this?
I am having a hard time paying $44 CAD for the new caps from the dealer, especially when they are plastic witha sticker!

Thanks.

Can someone please confirm whether these are stickers or need to be screwed on? Pictures would be nice. I got the chrome plated wheels, which are basically stock 16s covered in chrome and they have no emblems on them, these caps would add a really nice touch...
