When you get the code read in my bet is it will indicate the egr port is clogged.
The codes that come up usually are: egr, insufficient lift or catalytic converter below threshold. Keep in mind codes are only clues and if these codes come up like I said earlier chances are the little passage in the upper intake manifold is clogged. Our TL's clog the egr port easily as it is a very small passageway. Also if your car does not have the update to move the pcv port away from the egr port it will clog faster due to the oil vented into the intake.

Lol, my car used to pop random CELs with the TCS light. Usually said something about 3rd gear transmission clutch pack. Popped a few others about some solenoid. After resetting it a couple times, they haven't come back in 20k. I never had any problems shifting or anything, so I'm thinking it may have been electrical.

Not to steal the thread just a Question! if my Car hasnt clogged the EGR port now with 179K am I safe or I could do a Preventive cleaning? And if so! Do I have to buy new gaskets or they are all Aluminium reusable type? Thanks for any Replys!
you are wayyyyy overdue and will find lots of carbon to clean out of the ports and passageway
see the diy, can reuse gaskets if careful
but I would get a TB to manifold just in case it tears, and a new iacv cover gasket

OK then just the TB Gasket and the IACV! Got it! Ill have a trip to my Honda dealer Monday Morning to buy them and see if I can do it next weekend!
No Manifold gasket right? just to be sure!
And It didnt help that I run Seafoam every oil change in the Manifold?

clarify- you run seafoam in the intake manifold- at oil change time?
not in the oil itself?
thats doing great for intake but...
the exhaust gas is what gets some of it sent back thru the egr- to be reburned in combustion chamber (cylinders)
while a very small amount of seafoam may be present its not enough
just make sure the top cover gasket gets set on the workbench the way it came off- can be installed upside down- which makes car run very funny!!
not much you can do except wait till its built up and scrape off
