Post California Water Blade?

Getting ready for the first wash on my TL-S... A while ago I remember reading (on the TL site before the TL-S site came along) good things about the California Water Blade. Anyone here use it to dry off their car? Supposedly its even safer on the finish than terry or chamois and dries the car in 1/3 the time.

Darla, you must work for that place! I think we all have the site memorized-- Repetition is the way to retention...

I have a California Water Blade it works well. I also use the Absorber thats the sponge type towel that comes in the tube. We went over this on the TL board. The Absober was well liked by many of us. The Absorber gets the car pretty dry. The water blade can get most of the water off quick. I use them both the water blade first then the Absorber.
With the Absorber you just wipe & ring it out then wipe again.

I have the Blade and The Absorber, but I found I prefer the Water Sprite Plus. The Blade is too klunky and the Absorber leaves too much water behind. If you use the blade, you still have to use something else to get the car completely dry.

Take it from the Masked Man...

i usually use the blade to get the large amounts of water off the car, and then use a chamois to get the rest. plan to wash my baby again when the rain passes the area.

They work very well. You can get them at the local Costco in a 2 pack for about $14.00

Cool

That water blade is great! I use it to dry my shower doors AND my TLS. It makes it so much easier to dry the car. And you can buy them at Costco.
