ON a brighter note, our AC kicks as$
today was a muggy 89 degrees in shy town, so i decided to leave the ac set at 70 degrees for my hour long journey home from work, and wow!! In no time I had to turn it back up to like 77, because it got straight up eskimo, in my ride!(sorry for the ebonics
) Its the most powerful AC system i've ever used! We must have like a giant compressor, and the power drain is minimal! I mean my arm rest console got cold, because of the air blowing out the rear vents!:wow:

most of the jap cars AC kick as$...but the euro cars...um hm....
i agree that the power of the A/C is pretty incredible. the only beef i got is with the sun sensor. i'm not sure how many of you drive thru the city where you're constantly passing in and out of the shadow of tall buildings. well, this poses a problem b/c the A/C adjusts to the sunlight a bit too dramatically for my likings. so you either get too hot in the shade or too cold in the sun. otherwise, it's great!
i will also have to disagree with the comment about european car's A/Cs. i can't speak for other vehicles, but bmws have some of the best climate control i've ever used. the temperature adjustment is very precise. if you feel slightly warm and drop the temperature by 1 degree, you feel the change - and it maintains the temperature. none of this dropping to 65 degrees and then bringing it up to 72 and back down to 65 again when the temperature fluctuates.

Those were the days.

The A/C in my TL kicks a$$ compared to other cars I've owned. In fact, the whole automatic climate control works very well for me. Throughout an entire year I hardly ever vary the setting further than 69-71. Usually 71 in the winter is plenty warm (even for our New England winters) and 69 is fine for even our hottest summer days.
