Break Problem

i was changin my suspension to full tein and i had problem with getting one of the rear shocks out so i took off unscrew the break line and now my breakin is not sensitive at all . . . what can i do to get it back to normal? . . . any help please?

i need to basically floor the brake to come to a complete stop . . . it dangerous and dont want to do anymore driving until i get the problem solved.

:wow: when you unscrew the brake line, what do you mean by unscrew?? did you unscrew it from the caliper? would you probably got air into your brake system?? Check your master cylinder and see if there's enough brake fluid in it, I suspect you lost quite a bit brake fluid after you "unscrew the brake line" and introduce some air in the system in the process.

Yes, it's very dangerous, and based on FWD car only use the rear caliper for less than 20% of the braking. Even you totally screwed up your rear brakes, you should still be able to stop just fine. There's really something wrong in your car's brake system.

just bleed ur brake system...does ur pedal feel spongy or anything like that...just bleed it and see want happens

if ou took the brake line off you will need to bleed the brake system starting wit the farthest brake from the master cylinder working your wat to the closest. or just bring it to a brake shop and let them do it.

im clueless but i felt that i did something very stupid but i was so fustrated with the struct not coming out. do u think the dealer could do anything or just dont deal with them and take it to a brake shop?

I am sorry to say, but you did do a very stupid thing. If you do not know enough about your car you should not unscrew anything - you are talking about your life here!

You do not have to take it to the dealer - I would SLOWLY drrive to the nearest shop that does brake work and get it done there.
