hey you guys, when im on the free way at about 65 or so and do some moderate braking, my steeringwheel shakes like crazy. My watch would rattle with it. What could this be?

I don't think you could warp the pads!!!
You got warped rotors.....you need to re-surface them. Acura dealer should do it for free. I would recomend getting new cross drilled rotors and have them install them for free, instead of re-surfacing. It takes longer to re-surfaced them than putting new ones, plus they will warp again.....like mine now.

Another possibility is that if you recently had your tires rotated they overtorqued the lug nuts. This will cause the same thing.

If so, just loosen the lug nuts and retorque them in the proper sequence.

Otherwise, have the rotors resurfaced at the dealer.

 

just get an automatic watch... the vibrations will wind it when you're trying to brake

Driving my friend's Mustang I thought my watch was going to overwind there was so much vibration when braking.

My steering wheel were vibrating before also because the rotors were warped. I got them re-surfaced at Park Ave Acura. The vibration is gone now.

Common problem - take to dealer for a day and drive an Integra. The Teg will irritate you while you get your rotors turned, but the TL will seem like a Rolls Royce when you get in after the Teg!

I couldn't say any better. That damn teg was so underpowered compare to my TL. Boy was I glad when I got back in my TL.

 

I like this one...but after i drive my dad MB S55 AMG...i feel i'm in Teg while i'm sittin in my TL

I too had the same problem. The first visit, they resurfaced, the second visit, the replaced my rotors for free.

 

Too much is never enough!

lol cool my watch is automatic, but I will still bring the car to the shop though. do you think this will make a difference if the car was lowered when i bring it in. warranty???

My rotors were re-surfaced(after being replaced once before) by Park Ave Acura... They are fine now..
