Brake Rotors

Hey guys. Long time. I found a company on here a few months ago that sold slotted rotors that most people dealt with on this forum, but forgot the contact info and name. Can anyone chime in please. Thanks in advance. I have an 02 TL.

Look in our vendor section. It could have been quite a few. Most likely it was Excelerate or Heeltoe

Thx guys. I just bought the slotted/drilled rotors from Brake Motive. Anything will do. My steering wheel shakes so bad it scares me when I brake. Way over due.

Don't forget AJ USA, probably others too. Got a good deal on EBC brakes from them.

I just installed premium blank rotors from r1 concepts. I replaced EBC slotted rotors. The blank rotors actually stop better than the blanks during street use.

purpose of the side slots is to allow pad outgassing to have an escape path-
otherwise gas pressures can exceed the calipers ability to keep pads against rotors = pads can be pushed OFF the rotor while you are holding full brake,,at speed

this usually only happens under extreme high heat from repeated applications

hot spots on rotors can be from hard use or even repeated 45 to stop traffic-
then no cooling airflow by moving again = pad sits in contact with rotor with brakes applied- car stopped = heat sits on one spot on rotors..
