brake pad material

what is the factory brake pad material on a 2001 TL is it semi met. or ceramic.

oh the brake pads... they should be ceramic... I went to my local Napa store and thats what they told me.

Yea the W7 sound freaking awesome, I called up couple of acura dealers and some are saying ceramic and couple said semimetalic.

Yeah green stuff are excellent (they're Kevlar which are supposed to be easy on the rotors).

Than who do i go to without paying a crap load for just replacing pads and new fluid.

an auto shop with the word "Brakes" in the name...seriously. i.e. Brakemasters, Eagle Muffler and Brakes, etc. Jus search for Brake shops in ur area on google, get a list, and call up about 6 and c who will quote u the least.

i do it myself

but seriously, call around like moahdriven said to different brake places and see what they charge to do the work. brakes are very easy to put on, especially if thats what they specialize in. and dont let them talk you into stuff that you donr need
