Brake Light came ON!!!

I remoted start my car this morning, and when i got inside, i realized that my brake light was on, at first, i thought it was my e brake, But i stepped on and off my e brake to engage and disengage, NUTTING!, Now my Brake light is constantly on, although is turns off once in a while and reappears again. What can that mean? I mean, it was sleeting last nite when i drove home from work, not to mention it was snowing/raining all last nite Please help

this has happened to many people on this site (search to find more). It still happens to me on cold mornings - like you described; and goes off after I drive and stop some. I really think its only a matter of adjusting the parking brake, but it doesnt hurt anything and Im too lazy to figgure it out now. my fluid is full also.

Make sure your brake fluid level is at or near the MAX line. That's what happened on mine.

If you are still under warranty Acura will replace the "float, reservoir" and "filter". Happened to my brides 2001.

OK, I'm gonna dig into my memory here but I had the same problem. I think in the end, after topping off my brake fluid and changing brakes, Acura realized that it was some reservior sensor/ indicator. It was (believe or not) a 20$ fix from acura including parts and labor. Apparently, it got stock or oversensitive or whatever. Hope this helps...let us know what the dealership says

It's your master cylinder cap. It's going bad and not holding pressure. Same thing happen to me when i had my 03TL-S.
