i just replaced one of my parking lights in the back. It works fine but i still get the Brake Lamp light on the dash. Any suggestions?

check some of your other bulbs carefully. mine did that and it turned out to be a different bulb also

 

Sometimes with me, if I turn the bulb and put it in the other way. it works also.

 

yeah ive tried puttin the bulb the other way, and i stil lget the light, im gonna check all the other bulbs and make sure they are secure, will keep errbody posted

 

I have a brake lamp light on too and I know which bulb that I need to replace. I am just too lazy because it is too cold now, but I hope I don't encounter this when I replace my bulb.

 

just replaced one of my brake lamps too
my light indicator in the dash sometimes would come on and then turn off
i changed one of the bulbs, now it works fine
must have been a faulty bulb that only worked sometimes

 

same exact thing happend to me just check all the bulbs on that side and make sure there in right

 

does the indicator go off only if both filiments of a dual filiment bulb go out? so far ive had 2 bulbs 'half die' and gotten no indicator, i just happen to notice when i unlock the car and the lights kick on while im still walking behind it. its annoying to not be notified.

 

I had a bulb that was a little deformed, but still lit up do the same thing to me. It went out at the same time another bulb completely blew, and it drove me nuts until I figured it out. Id check all the other bulbs, even if they light up, and examine their filaments closely. If any look out of wack, change em.
