Post Bose Stereo Problem

At least ten times over the past weekend, the stock Bose system has changed radio station on its own. If you were on a station such as 105.1 the radio will change to 105.3.

Anyone else experience this type of problem before?

Never heard of that before, are you sure you didn't accidently brush the tuning knob when shifting or something? That seems really weird.

sorry, never had that problem. does it only happen to that station? if so, they may have the same output (megahertz) or close proximity and therefore compete for the same signal.... not really sure

My wife has originally complained about it.

I too thought it was just my wife hitting the station via the control on the steering wheel.

But it happened to me over the weekend, on two different radio stations. Hands were not by the controller on the steering wheel.

Anyway, thanks for your input.

LOL...
That sounds strange man... never heard of that before. I think you must have unintentionally brushed it while you were driving.

Negative on the unintentional brushing against the control. I was intentionally driving the car to try and simulate what my wife had been experiencing.

It is happening quite often now, so I will let the dealer figure it out.

Again, thanks.

Sounds like the HU might be getting signals from the scan button. Check and make sure it isn't stuck or broken.. But if not, take it to the dealer.
Hopefully it will happen when they try it..

i have had that happen to me before too. I think it is just two radio stations competing against each other for the broadcast. Also, is there any way to improve our radio reception? IT really sucks when i drive under bridges or sometimes it just sucks.
