OK....

So what would you do?

Get a 2000 or 2001 Accord EX V6 Coupe

or a 1999 3.2TL

reasons/etc.?
Pros/cons?

Also -- if u went with the TL would it be better to get:

a 1999 NAVI with 51k miles
or a 1999 NON Navi with 29-39k miles for around the same pricer?

aight I guess I've already chosen the TL lol
it just beckons to me -- but same question

99' 29-39k mileage -- NON navi
or
99' 51k mileage - Navi

I plan on having this car for at least 6-7 years/120k + add'l miles....

Hard choice. One thing is which one is in better condition regardless of miles? Are they both the same color? Gotta think about looks but in the interior, the one with navi takes the trophy.

How much are you paying for the Car?

I would add little bit more money & get 2000 TL with 5 Spd Auto. Same HP but faster with 5 sp auto. Also, I heard that 1999 TL's had some issues with transmission breaking down. Spend little more & get 2000 TL or maybe even CL or CL-S. CL's don't have a really good resale value from what I hear so you may be able to get a real good deal.

It all comes down to if you want navi. IMO, I would get the 99 with navi.
BTW, I have not heard of a 99 TL with tranny problems. Any cars can have tranny problems if you abuse it.

It seems the most tranny probs on here have been 00' models as opposed to 99's...................

Sure shoof -- but I doubt I can afford an 01 TL

'99s have hard-drive based Navi, whereas '00+ have DVD based Navi. But I don't know the practical differences between the two.

The HD based Navis in the '99 TLs are regional only and require you to visit the dealer for updates. The DVD version has more info packed into it, not to mention that you have the 48 states all on one DVD (albeit to varying degrees of detail).

With the hard drive, it might crash and get bad sectors on it!

I know its got the HD -- I'd eventually swap it to DVD when I get the cash and find a deal in a junkyard
