i duno if you noticed, but some of these mercedes' C-class benz's have these bluish windows.... not just the front windhsield, but all 4 side windows, front and back..... i sat in one, its sooo clear to drive in the rain.... whats the deal with that? is there a tint you can get done that can provide that clear driving? do u have to change all windows????

bluish tint? i have no idea...jus get some black or mirror tint, unless u live where it rains 24/7, i don't think its necessary to need to see more clearly in the rain than u already can. Black or mirror will look very nice.

 

i know what you're talking about (C32 AMG).....i'm guessing it's a factory thing....just the way the glass is made.....don't think something over the glass will help you see better.....

 

tint + RAinX = good as any MB window

 

ive seen that bluish tint on the C, CLK, S class. those windows are dipped in probably a bluish dye, kinda like factory tints on SUVs dipped in a black or dark brown dye. I wonder what the benefit is?? My old bravada had a greenish hue to the windshield always wondered what that was for

 

i thought the S class had purplish windows....i know the front and sides are purplish....

 

ya u may be right, bluish or purplish they stick out like a sore thumb on the silver benzes with grey interiors

 

one thing i don't like about them....if you tint an S class, the tint will look purplish.....HATE that...

Yeah RAIN-X Is the shizzle.....i keep all my windows rain-x'ed all the time.....rear and side windows last 8-12 months rain-x'ed...front window i rain-x once or twice a month.
