Id have to say that would be a big No. Especially if your looking for something like the 3rd gen TL. Maybe some aftermarket radios may have some type of BT but you wouldnt have the same features like stock

A guy at work has a bluetooth adapter made by motorola that he clips to his visor and picks up his phone when he gets in the car. It has a speaker on it and a built in mic. Of course it's no where near as nice as the 3G but it's better than holding the phone. I'll see if I can find a link.

He has the Motorola T305, but you can check out the other kits they have available. I am sure Motorola is not the only one that has something out like this though.

I've got this one and it works just fine. The only thing I suggest is to add amplified speaker vs. one that comes with the kit.

Do you have any pics of the install. I am assuming that it is hardwired in or is it just something you stick somewhere on your dash?

It is hardwired, of course. I’ll take a picture of the wired remote and post it later. Control box and the speaker both are under the dashboard.

When looking at aftermarket head units, I noticed Alpine makes a bluetooth module that works with their head units. I don't know if you want to ditch your current stereo, but it is an option.

I got a new bluetooth phone 2 weeks ago which made me want bluetooth in the car! I guess the only way would be to upgrade to an aftermarket deck which I won't be doing for a while. More than likely I'll have to wait until I jump to a 3rd gen.

Thanks for the pic.
There are other options available, like the ones on this page, to upgrade to bluetooth without having to get a new headunit.
Yes, all 3Gs have bluetooth to my knowledge.

I have not done it by myself; it was done in the shop. It took about 1.5 hour and $120 (or so, I don’t remember).
I did not show the microphone; it is up next to map light.
When I have incoming call or when I place the call that shuts stereo down (NAVI is still on, but no voice). After the call is complete, stereo starts about 4-5 seconds later automatically. No muting, just complete shut down. I was told that with NAVI muting is not that easy to do. This is voice command unit (you can dial number or in unit stored name) with couple dozen names stored in memory of unit (not count phone memory).

as a few have said already you should look into some aftermarket headunits, i have an indash tv and it has an option for bluetooth, the part needed (Pioneer CD-BTB100) is less than $200 and works with just about all the pioneer head units, this is how i would go, but thats because i already have a headunit
