they have a clear reflector, so yes the are dot approved which is nice i guess. i am not a fan of a flat black finish, id rather have glossy black. i assume they dont come with a ballast.

f***ing 99-01's

but then again the light output on almost all aftermarket headlights is crap, so i probably would not even get them if they were available for the 02-03's just for that reason of the shitty light output patterns

i looked into those a few times last year when i still had my car... every company that list them for sale always told me that they need to be MADE when ordered...

i havent spoken to this site but i would get in touch with them to make sure they actually have them in stock b/c other companies told me it would be months.....

I tried the whole baking the headlights thing and fu#$% up my passenger side light, this is one of the main reasons I am thinking about getting these. If I do get them I was thinking about tinting the side markers black and half of the tail lights. What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance

Naw, don't even do that to the headlights, I think just leaving them alone like the above one is super clean especially on other colored cars besides black. The color variations looks really nice, the tinted tails are an eh for me too, I like mine slightly tinted for a darker red look. Not fully black or almost black.

I'm not sure if these will fit your car, 99+ Honda Inspire headlights with HID ballasts, http://imgur.com/DJkWw.jpg I have more pics, asking $300 shipped to the US, $250 DFW pickup.

Those headlights should fit your car, I don't see any major differences, I have a JDM bumper on and my USDM headlights fit fine, so vice versa, I don't think the JDM headlights should have any problems with the USDM bumper. IMO you should tint the red part lightly. The dark red look is real aggressive and classy.
