There was a company using several different names that sold the jdm headlight housing

When I asked about the DOT certification as it claimed in the ad- I was told- well cert is coming but these are ok to use

Will dig thru the old emails and try to contact them - see if still in business
There was a member here ordered them a month ago and we have all been waiting for pics
of installed unit and feedback- never saw any

as our cars get older its harder to find shit for em........

also since not that many pople buy that stuff the sellers don't put em up as often, so its gonna turn into a game of luck when you check....

this is creepy. and im sure there is someone lurking here on acurazine that sells on ebay...three people actually.

adam just discovered today, all of a sudden, 3 sellers started selling the headlights again.

3 different sellers coincidently relisted the black out headlights for the 99=01 tl

i wonder if they will see this and repost the gauges as well.

Are the 8000k HID ones on ebay worth buying or should I just get the normal blacked out ones?

get the normal one. its great price but i wouldnt trust quality at all.

unless there is something wrong with your ballast or ignitior. if there is something wrong with your bulb, just change the bulb.

adamLEE is a great guy.

8000k are not worth the trouble....get the blacked out housings and stick to stock bulbs...(4300k)....or go with 6000k....(they are worth it)....and the differecne between the bulbs is quality, if basic you buy you get , try and find a cheap set of phillips

sounds good. Another question how hard or easy is it to swap out stock headlights with the blacked out ones. Like is it just like the tail lights where you remove and replace or is there some calibrating you have to do with the bulbs?

You must remove the bumper on 99-03. Its a lot easier to do on the 99-01 models though, which is lucky for us.

The bolts should all line up- the only adjustment should be done by a shop with a set of alignment things for headlights- any shop that does brake and headlight inspections has one- spend 25 bucks and know they are set perfect after your drop and other mods

The main concern of other members is the fit and water tighness of these housings
Buyers please report ASAP on these issues so the rest of us can fix our lights
Note: if you install new bulbs the color will be funny for the first 100 hours of use as the lights stabilize themselves- then all will be well
Just drive with them on for a month

Excelerate has new Kaixen 6000K bulbs for about 150 per pair- very nice bulbs

The problem with the headlights is, no warranty and no refunds. His feedback is (98% with about 23000 score ) but lets see. I have 10000K lights that I purchased a while back..

Its my belief that the different sellers of this item are all the same person
Reading the feedback- most complaints are on 10$ items and others where buyer failed to ask if item was in stock before ordering- things sell out- that may be why they pulled the store for a few weeks- get back in stock so no more hassles

Where is the azine member who bought these a month or 2 ago- report in!

And the ads I looked at had either 5 or 7 day return if defective or damaged
Thats why you spend 3 bucks on insurance- protect your investment
You cant expect them to cover it forever- it either fits and no leaks or it doesnt!!

^ I agree, insurance will protect us, however its the seller's call to see if the headlights can be returned or exchanged if waters leaks in. Lets see what happens, there was one guy with a 99-01 black TL, that had the ebay lights, he said the alignment was just off, but other than that, it fit and worked perfectly ( if my memory serves me right ). I'll search into it.
